In addition to monthly board meetings, the association hosts quarterly membership meetings, with a focused discussion of issues important to the neighborhood and feature speakers such as our city council representative, Robert King Fong.

Mission

The Land Park Community Association is a local community group committed to maintaining the traditions of Land Park, while enhancing the quality of the lifestyles of its residents and the businesses which serve the community.

Following these basic guidelines, the Land Park Community Association, as a volunteer organization, works to expand community awareness regarding the social and cultural opportunities available in Land Park as well as to provide the most up-to-date information on how city policies might affect our area.

Community

Welcome to the community!

Neighbors move to Land Park for any number of reasons and quickly learn that Land Park is more than a neighborhood, it’s a way of life. William Land Park offers unmatched recreational opportunities ranging from a day at the zoo, Funderland or Fairy Tale Town, to fishing, walking or jogging.

The historic architectural detail of the neighborhoods from the acorn-shaped streetlights, unique houses, tree-lined streets and beautifully manicured landscapes invite residents outside for interaction or a peaceful stroll. The neighborhood is blessed with locally owned businesses within walking distance, whether you’re looking for an exotic spice for a recipe, and ice cream cone, or a plant to fill a spot in a flower bed.

The Land Park Community Association, founded more than 20 years ago, works to create events and share information that unites the neighborhood. Our signature Taste of Land Park each fall brings 500 neighbors together on a Sunday afternoon to taste great food, listen to music, sample terrific wines and enjoy the company of fellow residents. Other events include the annual Spring Egg Hunt, movie nights in the park and quarterly membership meetings that typically focus on an issue of concern to the neighborhood such as the proposed zoo expansion or river crossing.
