IT'S TIME TO FOUND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH!
You may be saying, "Me? We don't have a crime problem on our block." It's a common misconception that neigbhorhood watch is about patroling the streets after dark, catching burglars in the act.
The reality is neighborhood watch is a simple and easy way to connect with your neighbors in a social setting. You'll establish easy means to alert eachother when crime events occur, exchange ideas on how to improve safety, and share info on suspicious activity. Moreover, the Sacramento Police Department and LPCA have partnered up to make it easier than ever to get started. LPCA PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The LPCA Public Safety Committee usually meets the second Tuesday of every month at Eskaton Monroe Lodge, 3225 Freeport Boulevard, at 7 p.m. All neigbhors--regardless of LPCA membership--are welcome and encouraged to attend. At these meetings we update eachother on recent crime trends, hear from public safety officials on issues of immediate concern,, and work on projects to improve neighborhood safety.
HOW TO FILE A CRIME REPORT:

- Violent Crime (personal assault, kidnapping, robbery)
- Sex Crime (rape or sexual assault)
- Stolen Vehicle (theft of a vehicle, trailer, motorcycle)
- Lost/Stolen License Plate
- Domestic Violence
- Assault and Battery
- Traffic Accident Involving An Injury
These crimes can be reported by calling 264-5471 to file your report. An officer may come to your house to take the report.)
